[G.A.P Institute <> Vingroup] BUILDING A SMART CITY WITH 300 STUDENTS AT THE VIN30 NEXT GEN EVENT

“What skills do middle and high school students need to design a smart city?”

This was the topic that the speakers from the G.A.P Institute were honored to teach to over 300 students at the Vin30 NEXT GEN Camp, commemorating the 30th anniversary of Vingroup.

At the event, these young 'seedlings' learned and explored creative thinking and critical thinking – two essential soft skills necessary to 'survive' and succeed in an unpredictable world. Besides easy-to-understand theory, the instructors also facilitated opportunities for the students to practice communication and teamwork skills through engaging in group activities, enhancing their memory and practical application of the learned concepts.

The introduction of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the design of smart homes for the future also sparked lively discussions among the 300 young participants. Real-world case studies provided the students with a more comprehensive understanding of the crises humanity faces, alongside efforts to find feasible solutions.

After two days, the training session officially concluded with many memorable moments captured. G.A.P Institute would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the speakers from the Institute who attended the Vin30 NEXT GEN to convey such meaningful messages to the younger generation.

The G.A.P team is proud to be a leading social enterprise in partnering with organizations to nurture a high-quality young Vietnamese generation and to build a sustainable future for the nation. We hope that G.A.P Institute will have more opportunities to cooperate in realizing this noble mission.
